Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to SkillSets on iOS and macOS, skillsets.app, and related services operated by RuniT, LLC (“RuniT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It does not replace the policies of a third-party service you choose to connect, such as Apple, Google, GitHub, QuickBooks, Stripe, Supabase, or an AI provider.

2. Information we process

Account and profile information

When you create or access an account, we may process your account identifier, name, email address, profile image, authentication provider, and session information. Authentication is provided through Supabase and the provider you choose, such as Apple, Google, or GitHub.

Content you choose to add

Depending on the features you use, SkillSets may process projects, tasks, notes, documents, app specifications, generated source code, release information, customer or contact records, calendar context, communication metadata, recordings or transcripts, and finance or business records. SkillSets processes this content to provide the feature you selected.

Connected-service information

If you connect an optional service, SkillSets may process the records and credentials needed to perform the action you request. Examples include App Store Connect release data, GitHub repositories, Apple Calendar events, QuickBooks accounting records, Stripe business records, Fireflies transcripts, or AI prompts and responses. Each connection is user-initiated and can be disconnected.

Device, diagnostics, and support information

We may process app version, device and operating-system details, crash or diagnostic data, push notification identifiers, network request information, and communications you send to support. We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve SkillSets. We do not use SkillSets for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

3. Google user data

We use this Google data only to authenticate you, create or locate your SkillSets account, display your profile, protect the service, and provide support. Authentication session data is stored securely through Supabase and device credential storage. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or permit human access except when you ask for support, when needed for security or legal compliance, or when the data has been aggregated so it can no longer identify you.

We share Google account information only with service providers that help us deliver authentication and account services, under obligations to protect it, or when required by law. SkillSets’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke SkillSets’ Google access from your Google Account connections. You may also disconnect by signing out of SkillSets and request account or server-side data deletion by emailing support@runitapps.com.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

• provide, sync, and maintain the features you choose;
• authenticate accounts and keep sessions secure;
• generate requested app, project, automation, or AI-assisted output;
• run integrations and deliver notifications you enable;
• diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and improve reliability;
• answer support requests and communicate important service changes; and
• comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.

5. Storage and protection

SkillSets is designed around local and user-controlled storage. App content may remain on your device or sync through your private Apple iCloud/CloudKit account. Account, profile, realtime, or service data may be processed through Supabase. Sensitive integration credentials are stored in Apple Keychain or by the connected provider when supported. Information sent to an optional service is also governed by that service’s terms and privacy policy.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information:

• to vendors that operate infrastructure, authentication, notifications, support, or features you request;
• to a connected service when you direct SkillSets to perform an action with that service;
• to protect users, RuniT, or the public from fraud, abuse, or security threats;
• to comply with lawful process or legal obligations; or
• as part of a corporate transaction, subject to appropriate notice and protection.

Service providers are permitted to process information only for the services they provide to us and are expected to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable law.

7. Retention, deletion, and your choices

We retain information only while needed to provide SkillSets, meet legal or security obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Local content remains until you delete it or remove the app. Content synchronized through iCloud remains subject to your Apple account settings and backups. Server-side account records may remain for a limited backup or legal-retention period after deletion.

You can decline optional permissions, disconnect integrations, revoke provider access, disable notifications, delete local content, or stop using the service. To request access, correction, export, or deletion of account data we control, email support@runitapps.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

8. Children

SkillSets is a professional productivity product and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

9. International processing

RuniT and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for transfers across jurisdictions.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as SkillSets or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by another appropriate channel.
